Weekend Wrap-up

We had such a fun weekend with all of our best friends at the lake!  For 5 years now, we've been going to a couple's parent's lake house on Lake Travis every summer, usually around the 4th of July.  Our annual trip was moved up this year due to one of the girls being due on July 1st!  And boy have things changed since we first started going...there are now 3 kids with 2 more on the way!  And this year, unfortunately, there was only about 3 feet of water at their dock so we weren't able to do any boating activities.  But we did take kiddie pools and washer boards, and those kept us entertained all weekend! :)

Summers and I loaded up on Friday morning with our 2 boys.  We drove to Austin and did all of the grocery shopping for the weekend.  She is 32 weeks pregnant so you can imagine the looks and comments she got while pushing the cart around with these 2 cuties! :)

As everybody eventually got there on Friday evening, we bundled up (crazy Texas weather) and roasted s'mores by the fire!

We spent the day Saturday lounging by the baby pools, playing washers, and enjoying the beautiful weather!

Me and my cute boy!  You can barely see what's left of the water in the back of the picture.

 Graham and Ella!

A picture of all 3 kiddos loving the baby pool!

We put the kids down early on Saturday evening and enjoyed a nice, relaxing Cinco de Mayo dinner of yummy fajitas on the patio!  Love these girls so much!

And then we roasted s'mores again!  Crystal was making sure hers was just right! :)

And the boys by the fire!

Graham enjoyed a little morning nap by the pool on Sunday morning before we headed home!

And we got to see Uncle Brad on our way out of town for a few minutes!  He couldn't believe how big Graham has gotten!

It was a fun and busy weekend, and we are so blessed by and thankful for great friendships!

  1. Such a fun weekend! It reminds me of all the trips with our friends back in Plano. I'm sure Graham had a great time.
