Weekend Wrap-up

Our Friday started off a little slower making sure my boy was feeling better!  Thankfully he was almost back to his normal self and ready to go! :)  That evening our favorite babysitter came to play while Trent and I participated in a service project with our Sunday School class.  We were able to serve dinner to families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in the Med Center.  It is always a blessing to do this and very eye-opening...it reminds me I have so much to be thankful for!  Afterwards we went to a late dinner with some friends.

Being silly and feeling better on Friday!

Graham was up bright and early on Saturday morning, like 6:10 early, so we made cinnamon rolls, played, and got lots of things done before we had to be somewhere at 10!

Waiting for the roll rolls in the oven!

Trent took Graham to June's 1st birthday party while I went to a sip 'n see baby shower for my friend Caroline and her new baby girl!  We all had a great morning celebrating two precious girls!

Graham loved playing with Ella!

We met back up at home for lunch and naps.

We've been having napping issues lately, and this is where Graham ends up after sleeping for about 45 minutes in his bed.  I honestly haven't minded it too much because 1. I usually nap with him!  And 2. I really enjoy these sweet snuggles!  They're hard to beat! :)

We played outside and grilled out that evening.

Making silly faces!

On Sunday morning we went to church.  Our guest speaker was Rep. Trey Gowdy from SC.  He was fabulous!  We enjoyed a wonderful patriotic service.

And G loved the flags they handed out!

We then went to Trent's office to hang up his deer that had been our dining room table centerpiece for the last 2 weeks!

We then went to one of our favorite lunch places by his office - Graham and I played for a few minutes when we got there while Trent was on a work call!  Love my silly boy!

We all came home and took good naps and then went to the pool!

What a great weekend, and we are looking forward to a slower week and Trent only working 3 days before celebrating the 4th!

And I was 27 weeks on Friday....how is that possible?!?

Happy Monday!

Weekend Wrap-up

Another great weekend in the books!

Although Friday started off rough for Graham - he had a poopy accident while we were at the gym, and I didn't have an extra outfit in his backpack.  (He hasn't needed one in over a year!)  So they had to put a pair of 5T sweatpants on him.  He was so confused and was not a fan!  And poor thing, we had a few errands to run afterwards!

Gotta love sweatpants in the summer...

Being silly at home, and glad to be out of the sweatpants!

Family dinner out that night!  We decided to mix it up and go eat Mexican food.  And this is Graham's new cheese face.  He's so enthusiastic about smiling for the camera and saying cheese, but he can't keep his eyes open!

Trent's sister, Kelsey, came into town on Friday evening after dinner to watch Graham for us.  We flew up to Dallas on Saturday morning for a wedding of one of our good Baylor friends.

We had a late lunch by the pool, did some reading, and then took a nap!

 My date! :)  Love him!

Josh, Emily, and us!  Always a fun time with the Evans!

Senior year roommates - Trent, Josh, Jonathan, and Aaron

The groom's cake!

We had brunch at Breadwinners this morning, a favorite that we try to eat at every time we go to Dallas!  And then we flew home and were so ready to see our boy!

But he didn't seem to miss us...he had LOTS of fun with Aunt Kelsey!

Playing outside, hands full of sticks, of course!

 Going to do some shopping!

Dinner at Cafe Express!  And sitting like a big boy - no high chair.  Where did my baby go?!

 Loving his cookie for dessert!

And doing some cleaning for Mama!

For dinner this evening, Trent made pancakes, and Graham had to be right there helping and doing everything Trent was doing!
(Don't worry, these burners weren't on!  And we were standing right next to him by the counter!)

Silly boy!

We are resting up tonight for a full, busy, and fun week ahead!  Next up - Cousins Camp 2014!

26 Weeks

 How far along: 26 weeks
Size of baby: About 2 lbs and 12 inches long
Maternity clothes: Oh yes, all of the time!
Gender: BOY!!  And we have decided on a name - Bennett...no middle name yet, though!
Movement: Yes, I feel him move a lot.  Mostly in the evenings and when I'm laying down.
Sleep: Pretty good.  I haven't been waking up as much, but I'm still just tired all of the time! I'm still not having to use my body pillow and can roll over easily, but I'm not sure how much longer that will last!
What I miss: wine, being able to bend over easily, having energy, picking up Graham easily, not getting winded
Cravings: something sweet every day, but nothing else in particular.  I just have to eat a lot of whatever I'm eating - I'm starving constantly!
Symptoms: hungry, tired - I'm usually ready for a nap before Graham is most days!, back pain - really feeling pretty good considering the heat and chasing a toddler!
Best moment of the week: I heard sweet baby's heartbeat again at the Dr. on Wednesday!  And I passed my glucose test - hallelujah!  It's been fun telling family and friends his name this past week as well.  We are surprised we actually committed to one before he was born!
Looking forward to: my time with Graham these next couple of months!  I'm really cherishing him being my only little buddy for now before Bennett and MDO start in September.

And this picture is from when I was pregnant with Graham at 26 weeks!

Weekend Wrap-up - Father's Day Edition

We were excited about a weekend at home to celebrate Trent!

This silly boy couldn't wait for Daddy to get home from work on Friday!

And we went out for our usual pizza date, of course!

The boys hanging out on the patio on Saturday morning!

I was able to run a few errands and get started on Graham's big boy room!  I found his bedding, a dresser, and a bookshelf!

I ended up getting this comforter at PBK!

I bought these wall hangings way back in November, and they are my starting pieces to decorate the whole room around!

That afternoon we took Graham to his first baseball game!  We were so excited for him to experience this with us!  He even made it until the 7th inning stretch!  It helped of course that we fed him ice cream, french fries, and a pretzel! :)

Walking in...

 The cutest fan!

He LOVED the foam finger we bought him!

 Trent loved showing him everything!

 Family selfie!  Love my boys!

Leaving the game and headed to eat dinner at Black Walnut!

Being silly on the way home and wound up from LOTS of sugar! :)

On Sunday morning we went to church and Sunday school, and I was so upset that I forgot to take a picture of Trent and Graham all dressed up!  Oh well.  After good naps that afternoon, we went to the swimming pool and to Sonic for an afternoon treat!

G was so excited about his chocolate shake!

Sweet boys!

What a fun weekend spending time as a family!
