How Far Along: 25 weeks
Size of baby: Baby A is the size of a cauliflower!
Maternity Clothes: Most definitely!  So glad to be in my summer clothes and not have to worry about maternity work clothes anymore!
Gender: Surprise!
Movement: All the time!  I love feeling Baby A move around and punch and kick me all over!  He/she is most active in the evenings when I get comfy on the couch.  It is pretty crazy to see my whole stomach move and change shape.  The new favorite thing is for him/her to curl up in a ball right below my belly button.
Sleep: So-so.  My wonderful pregnancy body pillow has helped a ton, but I'm still not sleeping great.  I think I wake up every time I roll over from one side to another.  It also doesn't help that we are sharing a queen size bed between me, Trent, and the body pillow! :)  I have to get up at least once a night to use the restroom.  I'm happy if I get 7 good hours!  Which is crazy because I used to love my 8-9 hours of sleep a night!  I take a nap whenever I can in the afternoons.
What I miss: sleep, not getting winded, being comfortable
Cravings: Orange juice and fudge pops are really the only thing I insist on having everyday...I'll eat anything and everything! :)  I'm hungry all.the.time.  I definitely love having something sweet everyday too!
Symptoms: Ummm heartburn hit me out of the middle of nowhere this weekend...not cool!  I was feeling like I was back in my first trimester.  I'm now carrying my trusty bottle of Tums in my purse! Other than that, though, I'm feeling pretty good!  Definitely feeling a lot bigger all of a sudden!
Best moment of the week: We enjoyed the nice, long weekend in Waco with my family celebrating my brother's 30th birthday!  There were lots of surprises and laughs along the way with good memories made!  I also went swimming this weekend, and I didn't realize how good it felt until I got out of the pool and felt the weight my my belly again..I know I will be spending A LOT of time in the pool this summer!
Looking forward to: being done with work!  Today and tomorrow are my last days of inservice, and then my "forever summer" officially begins!!

School Shower

My wonderful coworkers and sweet friends blessed Baby Agnew and me with a wonderful shower after school last week.  They outdid themselves and went above and beyond to make it such a special time.  I am so thankful for all of the great friends I have made at work these past 5 years and am really going to miss seeing all of them everyday.  On to the pictures!!

Tomorrow is the last day of school, and then I will officially be unemployed.  So crazy to think about, and I am beyond excited about this next stage in life.  But I will always love Second Baptist!

Gender: Surprise!

Symptoms: I'm having to eat smaller meals because I just don't have room and feel sick after bigger meals.  Some days I'm a lot more uncomfortable than others, but mostly I'm feeling pretty good!
Best moment of the week: hearing Baby A's heartbeat at the Dr. last Thursday!  Always such a sweet sound!
Looking forward to: hopefully hearing that I passed my glucose test!  And it is the last week of school!!!  I can't wait to be able to sleep in and nap whenever I want to!

Baby Agnew's First Shower

Two weeks ago we were so blessed by our Austin family and friends hosting a shower for us!  Trent's aunt hosted the shower at her beautiful home, and we were able to visit and catch up with so many life-long friends of the Agnews.  Baby A was very spoiled and loved!  Our car was loaded down driving back to Houston, including Trent's deer mount that happened to be ready for pick-up the same weekend!  We looked pretty hilarious with huge baby boxes and bags and then a deer head strapped into the seat belt in the back seat!

Something to Blog About...

So I'm finally starting a blog for our growing family!  I had always wanted to have one but decided to wait until we had a baby so I would have more to write about!  My wonderful sis-in-law put together my blog for me...check out hers and my cute niece and nephew!  I'm a little obsessed! :)  www.katieandjustincox.blogspot.com

On to Baby Agnew...

I am due on September 9th!  Right now I'm almost 24 weeks and feeling great!  Baby A will be a surprise..we aren't finding out the gender!  We are in the middle of baby showers, buying nursery furniture, and will be moving sometime this summer.  I only have one week of school left, and then I will officially be a stay-at-home mom!  I am thrilled about this and am so thankful that I will have the summer to rest and get things done before Baby A comes.  I will be sure to do posts on the two showers that I've already had and will begin my weekly updates next week!
