Busy Boy

Pulled my shoes off the shoe rack in the closet...

His new favorite place to play...and then he pushes all of the chairs out.

Opening and closing cabinets, and now he has realized there's stuff in there that he tries to play with, like my blender!

Loves to open and close the shutters.

He was trying to get as close as possible to the TV while watching Baby Einstein...a staple at our house in the five o'clock hour!

Opening drawers in my dresser and pulling out belts.

He wanted so badly to get back in the closet where the shoes were!

Closing the hallway door, with me on the other side of it!

And pulling off the padding from the fireplace that is supposed to keep him safe!

Wow...he is keeping me busy, but it is so much fun watching him explore and learn!  He is into EVERYTHING lately!  How I love this sweet boy!

Weekend Wrap-up

This weekend we headed north to spend time with the extended Cox family!  It had been way too long since we were last all together.  My aunt and uncle JUST finished putting in a pool at their house, so we decided a weekend there in the country swimming, fishing, eating, 4-wheeler riding, etc. was just what we needed!

I only have one pic from Saturday because we were in and out of the pool, playing outside, fishing, riding golf carts all over the property....so it just wasn't convenient to keep my phone with me!  Thankfully we have this cute pic from Aunt Katie's phone!

On Sunday morning we all met up at Cracker Barrel for a yummy breakfast before hitting the road to head home.  I love all of the pics we took on the porch!

 Love them! :)

 Graham and Uncle J!

Grandma and 4 of the 6 cousins!

Grandma and her 3 great grands!  LOVE this pic!

 All of the "kids"!

And our side of the Cox family!

Bop and Graham in their matching shoes!

Sweet Mary and Caden!

My sweet G and his muscle shirt!  Ha we loved seeing his farmers tan!

Graham and I hit up an awesome sale at Carter's on Sunday evening!  This is half of what I got....all for $4 and $5 each!  These are all 18 month clothes for the winter...can't believe Graham will ever be big enough to wear these!

It was such a good weekend spending quality time with family, there's nothing like it!  I'm thankful we were all able to take time out of our busy schedules to make this weekend happen.  We are very blessed!

Weekend Wrap-up: Father's Day Edition

After my boys spoiled me for Mother's Day, I couldn't wait for Father's Day to roll around so that Graham and I could do the same for Trent!  We kicked off the weekend by going to our favorite pizza place, of course!  Trent then headed downtown to a men's event to hear RG3 and some other people speak.  He had fun with guys from church, and enjoyed a night out!

Graham had fun chewing on his monkey!

Sweet boy, we were messing with him!  And please note how crazy his hair is!

Graham and I went to Babies R Us and HEB after dinner before coming home for bedtime.

He just wanted to stand up and play and then kept laying his head down on the railing!  He eventually went to sleep!

Saturday morning always calls for a big cup of coffee...

Because this one is always up early!

 Reading the paper with Trent!

After his morning nap and a quick shopping trip for me, we headed to the pool!

 Ready to swim!

 My boy and me!

 Floatin'!

We all enjoyed nice naps that afternoon before taking Trent out to dinner.

 My boys!

 How I love them!

Graham is Trent's mini-me, and Trent loves it!

We enjoyed some live music in the courtyard at City Centre before heading home!  G just wanted to get down and crawl and chase all of the other kids!

 Happy Father's Day!

Chris and Trent and their boys!

It has been so awesome watching Trent become such an amazing dad these last 9 1/2 months.  Graham just lights up every night when he gets home from work.  I am very thankful for how he leads our family, provides for us, and loves us.  We are so blessed by him!

First Annual Cousins Camp

Nana was so excited to host the First Annual Cousins Camp this summer!  She planned for weeks, and had so many fun activities for the kiddos.  We all had a blast!
WARNING: Picture overload!

Graham and I headed to Waco on Tuesday morning to meet my mom for lunch.  We then went home for naps and the pool before the cousins got there that evening!

 My packing helper, of course!

He had fun exploring at Nana and Bop's!

 So proud of himself!

 Ready to swim!

 He loved the pool!

Once the rest of the crew arrived, camp was officially in session!  First up, was making pillowcases with everybody's handprints on it.  We are going to do this every year for a keepsake!

Sweet Kaki loved the messy paint!

Then it was time for some water fun in the backyard!

C and K LOVED the slip n slide!

On Wednesday morning we were up bright and early to get to the zoo before it got too hot or crowded!

Ready for a day of fun in their matching shirts!

Passed out on the way there!  He was such a trooper, taking cat naps in the car most mornings, and trying so hard to keep up with his cousins!

 At the zoo!

 Aunt Katie and G!

 The aquarium was awesome!

A picture for Trent, in front of the deer and turkeys!

Sweet Kaki walked most of the time!  She loved it!

After a yummy lunch at Taco Bueno, we got to visit Bop at school on the last day before summer!

Our craft project after naps, putting finger print dots on the giraffe!

And then it was time for Caden's favorite part of the entire week...dinner and games at Chuck E Cheese...yea! :)

He managed to pick up a ball out of the slot!

 Crazy drivers!

 Yummy pizza!

On Thursday morning, we spent a couple of hours at Mayborn Museum.  There was so much for all 3 kids to do!  Graham loved crawling all over the place and doing whatever C and K did! :)

 Cousin Tea Party!

All 3 cousins kept crawling through here, one after the other, it was so cute!

They all loved the water table!

Bubbles!

After a fun morning exploring, we went to the SUB for lunch, looked for the Bears, and stocked up at the Bookstore!  And of course, the counselors (me and Katie!) enjoyed a yummy treat from Common Grounds!

 These 2 are trouble!

 Love them to pieces!

Group pic!

We headed home for naps and then went to the pool, went fishing, ate dinner, and played in the backyard!

Somebody finally took a nap once Nana rocked him...spoiled much?! :)

Bop and his crew ready to go fishing!

Ha even Graham and Kaki had their own fishing poles!

Such a big boy, and a pro at fishing!

On Friday morning, we finished up a few things, had our awards ceremony, and said goodbye until next time!

 My boy and me! :)

 Nana and her grands!

 The Bravest Camper!

 The Funniest Camper!

And G got the Happiest Camper!  But somehow I didn't get a picture of him with his medal and Sonic card.

And of course he had to help me unpack once we got home! :)

Nana and Bop, thank you so much for a week of spoiling, loving, and making lasting memories for the cousins!  This is something we will all look forward to every summer!  We love y'all!
