Baylor Homecoming

This past weekend was the best weekend of the year...Baylor Homecoming!  We were so excited to head to Waco late on Friday night and spend the weekend with family and celebrate Baylor.

Ready for the parade on Saturday morning!

Donuts, cousins, and the band on its way makes for some happy little ones!

The family!  I love that we get to all do things like this together!

From the parade we headed to tailgate.  We hung out for a few hours, played at Touchdown Alley, saw Walk of the Bears, and ate some yummy food.

Bounce houses!

Obstacle course!

We are Baylor!  Can you find all 4?!

]
BRUISER!  Definitely the highlight of Bennett's day!

Getting lots of high fives from the players!

B knows the keep his hand out the whole time!

My big boy and me ready to cheer for our Bears

Nap time for little one!  He slept for 45 min, and Graham fell asleep too and slept for 30 min.  And it was loud!  Somehow they slept right thorough it.  We all ended up leaving at halftime because it was hot, it was a blow out, and we wanted to play with the cousins back at Nana and Bop's house!

Pizza picnic!

We all crashed early that night after a fun and busy day!  Can't until Homecoming next year when we have another little one to bring with us!

Scottsdale and My Birthday

Trent had a work conference at our favorite resort in Scottsdale - one of our favorite places to visit, especially this time of year!  So I decided to tag along, and we went a day early and made a vacation/baby moon out of it for us!  We had the best time relaxing and reading and having uninterrupted meals for a few days.  Thankfully Trent still had some pool time with me and we had dinner 2 of the 3 nights together.  His work meetings didn't keep him too busy.  I managed to read 4 books while we were there! Warning: all of my pictures look the same - by the pool!

We immediately checked in Sunday afternoon and headed to the pool.  It had been an early morning driving back from Waco, dropping the boys off at our house with Trent's parents, and getting to the airport.  We were ready to rest and relax!

Cheers to vacation!
We had dinner at one of our favorite restaurants that night, The Greene House.  We sat on the patio and enjoyed the amazing weather and food!

Monday morning walk around the park in the neighborhood.  I love seeing the mountains in the background.

We grabbed breakfast at the Starbucks at the hotel after our walk, and Trent worked in the room for awhile and I headed to the pool!  I ate lunch by the pool, took a break in the room for a little bit, and then headed to a different pool for a few more hours!  Not a bad way to spend a Monday!

Trent had a work dinner that night so I took a bath, watched a show, and ordered room service!  Don't worry, I didn't eat all of those cookies that night!

On Tuesday morning I went to the spa for a massage, and I enjoyed their relaxation room, and rooftop pool.

Breakfast from Starbucks by the pool before the spa!

A picture of the beautiful scenery all around the resort.

Back at my favorite pool about lunchtime that day.

Lunch by the pool.

Dinner out on Tuesday night at La Hacienda, the Mexican food restaurant at the resort.  We ate on the patio again and enjoyed the weather!

And again, breakfast by the pool on Wednesday morning.  I could get used to this!

Enjoying the pool for our last few hours of vacation.

Trent got to join me after his meetings before we had to go to the airport.

A poolside snack!

It was the perfect little getaway together, but we were ready to get home to see our boys on Wednesday night!

Last Wednesday, the 5th, was my birthday!  I woke up to flowers, coffee, and donuts that morning!
I took the boys to school, and then I met Trent at Tiny Boxwood's for brunch.  He had to go to the airport after that to fly to Chicago.  I went and picked out some earrings at Kendra Scott and picked the boys up from school.  That evening we went to Stephanie's house for pizza and cupcakes!

The boys enjoyed playing outside!

Sweet friends and cupcakes!

It was a sweet evening celebrating with friends!
Cheers to 33!

My big 2 year old at his check up!

He insists on drinking out of my coffee cups when I'm done!

A healthy, growing boy!  Our dr jokingly said, "I don't think I need to ask if he's a good eater!"

He LOVES to play dress up!

Bennett got to spend one morning with Stephanie!  She had a carload for school drop off!
