We went to Marble Falls on Friday afternoon to celebrate some birthdays! Mimi's was on Sunday, and Trent's is next week. It was a nice relaxing weekend with LOTS of time spent outside. The weather was amazing! And it was the first extended pool day I've been able to enjoy all summer!

And we had a big milestone when we got home on Sunday....
moving Graham to his big boy bed! He was so excited!
He went right to sleep without a problem. The only minor hiccup was that he woke up at 5:45 this morning ready to go. I'm so hoping he starts sleeping later! :)
He even took a good nap in there after crying for about 30 minutes. Funny story - well now it's funny....
he was out of bed messing with the door after I put him down for his nap. He did this for about 15 minutes and then finally crawled back in bed and went to sleep. He woke up after an hour and a half, which for him is a good nap in his bed, and I went to open the door, and IT WAS LOCKED!!! Oh dear...after frantically trying to open it with a bobby pin, I finally convinced him to open it from the inside. So as soon as Trent got home tonight, we turned around the doorknob! Lesson learned. :)
And G got a treat from Sonic for doing so well in his big boy bed on the first day! Here's to hoping it lasts and wasn't just a fluke...
