So Graham and I came up with a special surprise this week! We drove to Waco on Monday afternoon, knocked on Nana's door, and said, "Surprise! Happy early birthday!" To say she was shocked would be an understatement. It took her a good 15 minutes to realize we were actually there! :) Thanks to Bop, we had a good story and plan to make sure she would be home!
Driving, so ready to be there and see the look on her face!
G was resting up...
After playing with Nana, we headed up to Bop's school for some volleyball games and then to dinner at George's! Graham cheered and clapped at all the right times and loved waving at everybody!
G and Bop taking it all in!
On Tuesday morning, we went for a nice walk and stopped to play at the park!
Of course Froggie had to come along!
Feeding the ducks!
Having so much fun!
Going down the slide like such a big boy!
We wore him out! He snuck in a quick nap on our way to do some shopping!
We got some new Baylor goodies at the bookstore, stocked up on fall clothes at Carter's, and enjoyed Taco Tuesday at Rosa's!
Showing off some of his new clothes!
G woke up hard from his nap and needed some extra cuddles! I gladly obliged! :)
I was even able to take a nap...such a nice treat!
Graham helped Nana water her plants!
This boy LOVES being outside!
We met Bop for dinner...doing some dancing while waiting on our food!
And then we of course had to go to 3 Spoons!
On Thursday morning we enjoyed another nice walk before going by Bop's school and having lunch at Cafe Cappuccino!
Graham and Nana! (And Froggie!)
G found a few things to get into while we were trying to get ready...
Bop and G!
Before we knew it, it was time to head back home to Houston. We were so glad we could be there a few days to celebrate Nana! Today is her actual birthday, and we want to wish her the best birthday ever! We love you!
My happy boy at HEB...we had to go straight there when we got back in town so we would have food in the house! :)
Happy Thursday!
It was the best surprise for you and Graham to show up at the door! I had a great time "playing " with you and Graham. Thank you for making my birthday so very special. That meant so much that you were here.
