This past weekend, Trent sent my besties and me on a trip to Scottsdale for my 30th birthday! IT WAS FABULOUS! I so loved my time with these girls and am so thankful for their friendship, encouragement, prayers, and just the everyday journey of raising our kids together! What a blessing good friends are!
I am also very thankful for all of the husbands, parents, and in-laws who stepped in this weekend to take care of all the babies so we could enjoy some time away recharging and resting! :)
We met at our house on Thursday afternoon and headed to the airport!

So thankful for this group of girls! We were ready to go! And we got asked MANY times if we were a bachelorette party...HA!
So excited to be in Scottsdale! We stayed at an amazing, huge resort! This is us riding in golf carts to our casita!
We were tired from travelling and adjusting to the 2 hour time difference so once we got checked in we found a casual restaurant at the resort for dinner. It was delicious! And we were treated to birthday dessert every night!

On Friday morning, we hit up the Starbucks at our resort and then went for a nice walk all around the grounds. There was so much to explore!

On Friday night we did a little shopping at an outdoor mall close by and ate dinner at my favorite restaurant in Scottsdale, The Greene House. It did not disappoint! Everyone loved it!

And Saturday was a repeat of Friday - Starbucks, walk, and LOTS of pool time! :)

On Saturday night we ate at the Mexican food restaurant at the resort. IT WAS AMAZING! We had guac, chips, and queso, and lots of yummy entrees that we all shared! And to top it off, my sweet friend Sara who couldn't go with us because she is due in 10 days, had champagne delivered to our table! So thoughtful of her!

It was a great night to end our wonderful vacation!

The weather was perfect while we were there - 90 during the day, but it would dip into the 50's at night so we enjoyed the fireplace in our casita many times!

This is what happens when you have a big group of moms travelling together - one who can't go through the big x-ray machine because she's pregnant so she is having a pat down, and another who is having all of her breastmilk inspected going through security! We were quite the sight! :)
