Cotton Bowl

I'm almost caught up on blogging!  I know the Cotton Bowl was over a month ago, but I just have to blog about it!

We had such a fun trip to Dallas with the boys and Nana and Bop.  We were so excited to cheer for our Bears in another bowl game!
First stop on our road trip - lunch at Whataburger!

I'm so thankful we have such good travelers!

That night we had dinner at Patrizios in Highland Park Village and then went on a carriage ride to look at Christmas lights!  It was a yummy dinner and a festive and cold ride!

Bop and G!  At least Bop was cooperating!

Nana and B bundled up and waiting on our hot chocolate!
We couldn't find a hat big enough for sweet B's head! :)

Graham checking out the neigh neighs!

Bop made Graham a Baylor flag, and this is how they walked through the hotel every single time.

Pancakes for breakfast every morning was Graham's favorite!

On Wednesday morning we drove over to the Gaylord Texan to explore and see all of the great Christmas decorations.
Don't you love B's overalls?!  They are a cute hand me down from Caden!

Picnic lunch in the hotel room.
The 4 of us all stayed in one room for the week, and it could not have gone any better!  Both boys slept great, and so did we!  We had an adjoining room with my parents, which was a huge help.  After putting the boys down at night, we were able to go over there to watch TV and hang out.

Walking into the pep rally!

G always talks about the cheerleaders, but then of course he got super shy when we saw them!

All of us!

New Years Eve dinner at Mi Cocina - my favorite!

And a little football in the hotel room before bedtime!

My boys ready for the game!

They both did AWESOME!   B slept off and on, never cried, ate, and just took it all in!  G of course loved watching the game, colored some, ate french fries, and admired the band!

My cute parents!

Can't miss Shawn Oakman!

Still cheering for our Bears and singing the songs after a tough loss!  He loved running laps around the rooms!

The 4 of us piled in bed on Friday morning!

And brunch at Breadwinners before heading home.

What a fun trip!  Sic 'em Bears!
