Weekend Wrap-up - July 4th Edition!

Who doesn't love a nice, long weekend at home with not much on the agenda?!  I was so excited to have so much time with my boys!  We were looking forward to relaxing, swimming, getting a few things done around the house, and being thankful for our freedom!

On Friday morning we all went to Academy to get a few things.

G was not happy with me piling shoe boxes on him!

And we had to get a treat at Sonic, of course!

We then went to our neighborhood pool party!

 Lunch by the pool!

We all took a late nap to be sure we could stay up for fireworks!  We grilled out burgers, and then some of our good friends, the Williams, came over for dessert and fireworks!

Graham and Ella, such sweet friends!  They are about 7 weeks apart in age.

We walked in the rain to watch the fireworks show, and I got to use my new double stroller for the first time!

Saturday morning started off with pancakes of course!

Trent's little helper/taste tester!

We decided to try the Children's Museum that morning.  We got there right when it opened at 10, and Graham LOVED it!!!  It's like the Waco Mayborn x100 - a little overwhelming!  But of course it didn't slow G down one bit, and I was so glad Trent was there to help us figure out our way around and keep up with Graham! :)

His favorite part - shopping at HEB!

Checking out with flowers for Mama!

Checking out who's behind the puppet show!

It was such a fun morning watching Graham explore and try so many new things.  It was an awesome place, and we will definitely be back!

We stopped for lunch on our way home and then all took a nap!

Sunday morning was church, lunch, and naps....and then the real fun began!
We started working on Graham's big boy room!!  Trent put together the bookshelf, and of course his little helper was right there next to him the whole time!

After the bookshelf went together fairly quickly, Trent pulled out all of the parts and pieces for the dresser, looked at how many steps there were (22), and called it quits for the night!  So this is the current state of the room!  Hopefully we can get it done this weekend!  Graham is so excited about it.  He goes and stands in the doorway and screams, "Graham's big boy room!"

Relaxing and grilling outside after working hard!

Monday morning antics with my silly boy!

And fun at HEB!

We are enjoying our week, and I can't believe it's already Wednesday!  I'm loving my days with my sweet boy so much!
