Turks and Caicos

Trent and I went on an amazing anniversary/babymoon trip to Turks and Caicos last week!!  We had the best time with no schedule, uninterrupted meals, sleeping late, reading, and relaxing.  Of course we missed Graham so much, but we knew he was having a blast and didn't miss us one bit!  Apparently he didn't even ask for us the whole time! :)

Early morning flight from Houston to Miami on Wednesday!

We made it to our beautiful resort!  This is from our balcony!

We went on a sunset cruise that evening.

And then had dinner and dessert around the firepits next to the beach!

This was Trent's favorite - rice krispie ice cream!

And mine - warm chocolate lava cake - it was amazing!  And I had it 2 of the 4 nights! :)

Thursday morning we woke up, enjoyed a buffet breakfast, and headed to beach for this view the next 3 days...

I enjoyed lots of yummy virgin pina coladas!

After a full day in the sun, we walked to dinner at Coyaba.  We ate lots of good seafood!

On Friday morning, we started off with a couples massage.  It was so relaxing!  And then we headed to the beach and the pool for the rest of the day!

Rough life...

That night we had dinner at the restaurant at our resort called Anacoana.  It was right next to the beach, we had reservations at sunset, and the food was delicious!

This was pre-dinner drinks at the Infinity Bar.

Beautiful!
The tables to the left in this pic are where we ate dinner!

Breakfast on Saturday morning!

This was my second helping, don't worry!  I had already finished my big plate of pancakes, eggs, and fruit!

This little red flag was our BFF - when we were on the beach, anytime you wanted/needed something, you just stood the flag up in the sand, and somebody would come and take your food and drink order!

Cheers to 7 years!!!

Late that afternoon we rode bikes into town to do a little souvenir shopping and to get ice cream!

I can't remember the last time I rode a bike, much less at 24 weeks pregnant!

Another beautiful sunset!

And we had dinner on the beach at the resort's seafood buffet!

Somebody was full and happy! :)

There was also a wedding on the beach that night, and they had fireworks at the reception, which we enjoyed from our balcony!

EARLY Sunday morning ready to fly back to Miami and head home.

The water was beautiful!

We were so excited to get home to see this munchkin!  But he had TONS of fun while we were gone!  He spent the first 3 nights at Nana and Bop's and then the weekend at Mimi and Grampy's house!

First on the list at Nana's - make cookies of course!

I love this picture of him!

Going to feed the quacks quacks and play at the park!

Fishing with Bop!

Taco Bueno lunch date with Nana!

And he couldn't believe that Nana also had an HEB! :)

Water fun in the backyard/cleaning off the fudgesicle!

Mowing and playing with the woof woofs at Mimi's!

Building blocks with Uncle Brad!

And then eating and playing at Aunt Kelsey's house in College Station before coming to meet us on Sunday evening!

I'm so thankful for all of our parents who were more than willing to take care of our boy!  It made it so easy knowing he was so well loved, comfortable, and being spoiled rotten while we were gone!

What an amazing trip and awesome 7 years with Trent!

  1. We were so excited to keep Graham. He was such a good boy! I hope we did not mess up his schedule too much. I'm so glad you and Trent were able to have this time together. We will keep him anytime! Miss him!
