Weekend Wrap-up

We were excited about a fun weekend at home!

So excited to find his elf on Friday morning!

And he had a run-in with the ottoman!

Last year we started a tradition with some of our best friends to do a fancy Christmas dinner.  We are all like family to each other in Houston, as all of our families live out of town.  I am so thankful for these friends!  Everybody came over on Friday for dinner and presents.  We missed the Valentine's this year!

The girls - June and Ella

The kids all exchanged presents and loved playing with the wrapping paper!

Miss June just wanted to eat it!

My boys!

G and me!

On Saturday morning I ran to Academy and Toys R Us all by myself at 8am.  I needed to finish up a few last gifts, and I beat all of the crowds!

G and Trent stayed home and played!

And then we went to a 3 year old birthday party to celebrate Tate and Rhodes!
It was at a super fun indoor play place - we will definitely be going back!

My big boy sitting at the table eating pizza...when did he get so big?!

On Saturday evening we had our friends Adam and Danielle over to eat Mexican food and catch up.  Graham loved being the center of attention, and he put on a show for them!

Looking at the train display at church on Sunday.

He is fascinated with them!

Graham and Ella, such sweet friends!

The 3 of us!

We came home after church and enjoyed a quick lunch with Mimi and Grandpa as they were driving through town to Galveston to take a cruise for the week!

Play time before naps!

And a few extra cuddles after naps!

That evening we made Christmas cookies!  G was so excited to help!

Such a good helper!

I had to keep a close eye on him because he kept trying to put a whole wad of dough in his mouth - he knows what's good! :)

He was so proud of himself, and we all enjoyed the yummy cookies! :)

How is it already Wednesday again?!  Hope you're enjoying this special time of year and slowing down to take it all in!

  1. Cute picture of Graham finding his elf. I think he likes it. So many great Christmas traditions, the dinner with your friends and of course making Christmas cookies. I still think about all that flour. Oh so fun!
