Waco Weekend Wrap-up

We were only home for 3 days before we loaded up again and went back to Waco!  Trent left on Tuesday night for a hunting trip, so Graham and I decided to go have a nice, long visit with Nana and Bop!  We had a wonderful time - lots of meals out, tons of Christmas shopping, naps, peppermint hot chocolate, and the Baylor football game!

Trying on hats at the bookstore!

Loving the train table at Barnes and Noble...major meltdown when it was time to leave!

 He loved rocking!

 Lunch at Rosa's!

 Reading Christmas books with Nana!

On Thursday evening we took McAllister's to school and had dinner with my dad and watched some of his basketball games.  Graham was very focused on the cheerleaders!

And Trent shot this mule deer on Thursday!

We lounged around all of Friday morning and watched Christmas movies and Sound of Music!

 Oh that face!

He actually paid attention to parts of Sound of Music!

Peppermint hot chocolate and Miracle on 34th Street - mine and my mom's favorite Christmas movie!

Snow on my parents' roof, so pretty!

We bundled up that afternoon and went to try something new for us - a bounce house place!  Graham absolutely loved it!  He ran around and jumped for a solid hour and completely wore himself out!  It was a great indoor activity for a cold weather day.  We will definitely be going back!

 Loving the slide!

 G and Nana

 We had so much fun!

I carried him up this slide about 20 times, no joke, and I paid for it for the next 24 hours...my back was killing me!

And we enjoyed a yummy dinner at George's!  G and Bop love making faces at each other!

Graham loved him some rolls, mac n' cheese, and green beans!

Doing a little rocking before bedtime!

Game day breakfast at Cafe Cappuccino...a must when I'm in Waco!  And G got to eat his first Cafe Capp pancake - delicious! :)

Bop and G looking at the snow!

Bop and his boys putting out the gameday sign!

It was such a special and fun day at The Case one last time!  This is our original tailgate crew.  We've had so much fun with them over the past 5 years!

Our family that braved the cold!  Trent couldn't make it back from his hunting trip.  He was so bummed that he was missing the last game at Floyd Casey, but his trip had been planned for about 16 months.  We missed him!

HUGE win!  Big XII Champs!!  30-10!
Who cares that it was 24 degrees?!?

After we thawed out on Saturday night, we headed home on Sunday after lunch.  We watched sweet Ella for a few hours that evening while her parents went to a work dinner.  She and Graham play so well together!  It's fun and easy because they are in the exact same stage and doing the same things.

 Sweet friends!

 Working so hard...

They had trouble sharing this chair! :)

And we were SOOOO excited to see Trent on Sunday night right before Graham's bedtime.  He had a great trip, and so did we, but we sure did miss him!

Thanks Mom and Dad for hosting, spoiling, loving, and helping us!  We had such a fun week with many great memories!

  1. We had such a great week with you and Graham! I'm so glad that was you going up the slide and not me! It was so much fun taking Graham there. Then the fun football game! I never want to be that cold again! I' m so glad that you and Graham were able to spend that time with us.
