Graham at 15 Months

What a fun age this is!  Graham is growing, changing, and learning every single day.  It is amazing watching his mind work and having him try new things all of the time.  What a blessing and joy he is to Trent and me!

Stats: We don't go to the Dr. until Monday for his 15 month appointment, but at his last visit two weeks ago for his ear check-up, he weighed 25 lbs. 6 oz.  I'm guessing he's really close to 26 lbs!  He's a chunk!  And he's gotten taller lately too - his pants have been fitting a little short!
He has 8 teeth - 4 on bottom and 4 on top.  I keep waiting for more to come in because he is drooling buckets and gnawing on everything!

Milestones: Running EVERYWHERE!!  And he trips and falls a lot but just gets right back up and takes off again!  He had his first ear infection, and he decided to just knock it out and get it in both ears at the same time!
He is talking ALL OF THE TIME!  Words: Mama, Dada (I hear this one about 500 times a day!), Nana, uh-oh, touchdown, ah-ah (applesauce), bye-bye, go go, up, mo-mo (Elmo), moo, neigh, woof-woof.  He can identify his head, ears, mouth, eye, belly, hands, and feet.  It's so cute seeing him point to each one!  We are struggling with nose!
He is getting his first hair cut tomorrow!  It's time to get the madness that is his curls under control.  I'm hoping to just get the sides and top trimmed - they are the poofiest! :)
Graham started giving kisses and hugs recently.  It's the cutest and sweetest!
He started eating table food, and we are officially done with baby food!  More details below!

Personality: Where do I even start on describing him?!  He is hilarious and loves to make people laugh.  He also cracks himself up a lot...he'll just be playing with a toy and then start giggling!  He is Mr. Social - loves being around other people and kids and is quick to wave hi and smile.  He makes friends wherever we go.  He is fearless, always standing on something and climbing, trying to balance on things and ends up falling, climbing on the gate and shaking it, etc.  He loves to be so sweet and snuggly at times too!  Graham will be playing so independently and then come climb in my lap for a quick hug and then runs back to playing!  I love all of my cuddles with him!  Graham has also become very opinionated lately.  He lets me know exactly what he wants, and he throws a fit if he doesn't get it!  We've had to do a few time-outs and hand flicks, but he usually just laughs at me!  There's a lot of learning to do in the discipline department!

Sleep: Graham is still doing great with the one nap schedule!  We always get out in the mornings, and he will always take a quick 10 minute nap in the car about 11ish.  He then goes down from 1-3ish.  Some days a little shorter and others a little longer.  At night he goes to bed about 8 and sleeps until about 6:30 or 7.  Although this morning he didn't wake up until 8:15!  We've had a hard adjustment since the time change, and I'm hoping he starts sleeping a little later more consistently.  He sleeps with his lovie and about 10 pacis in his crib!

Clothes: He is wearing mostly 18 month and 18-24 month clothes.  Pajamas are 18 months.  Graham wears size 5.5 shoe but is close to needing some new ones!
He still wears size 4 diapers, both regular and overnight.

Food: Wow, we have come so far just in the last 10 days!  One day Graham completely protested baby food so we tried some table food again, and he acted like he had been doing it forever!  It was awesome to see!  So in the past week we are trying everything.  He is loving it and is always up for trying something new.  The only things he hasn't liked are eggs, oranges, and peaches.  His favorites are pancakes, bananas, mac n cheese, bread, ham, ritz crackers, string cheese, and green beans.  I haven't written much about Graham's eating issues on here.  Every time we tried table food before, he would gag, spit it out, and sometimes even throw it up if he had managed to eat it.  A couple of weeks ago we had a swallow study done, and they suggested feeding therapy.  We had our appointment set for next week for his feeding evaluation, but I cancelled it yesterday!  What a praise!  I have loved watching him try so many new things, and it has been fun ordering food for him the couple of times we've eaten out.

Likes: being outside, playing with friends, reading books, climbing, Baby Einstein videos, Elmo, his cousins, bath time, tackling and being rough, milk, music and dancing

Dislikes: diaper change, changing clothes, having his nose wiped, being told no, water or juice - will only drink milk

Looking forward to: more words and communication, seeing his fascination with Christmas - so far he loves all of the lights!
