Train Up A Child...

...In the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.  Proverbs 22:6

This past weekend we participated in Parent Commitment/Baby Dedication Sunday at our church.  Trent and I recognize the great responsibility we have to teach Graham about God's love.  We promised to nurture him in scripture, be involved in church, and set an example in our home of how to live by faith.

We are so thankful for all of the family and friends we have that support and encourage us in this journey of being parents and raising a Godly child in today's crazy world.  We are also very thankful for our wonderful church where we have an opportunity to fellowship with other believers who are in the exact same stage we're in, to pray for us, and to provide many opportunities for both us and Graham to get involved and learn God's word.

So all that being said, the Coxes were all able to come to town for the weekend!  It was a fun and crazy weekend with the cousins, one that we will never forget!

Nana and Bop were able to come on Friday afternoon, and we were so excited to see them!  We went to a nice dinner, and Graham had fun just showing off his new tricks!

On Saturday about lunch time, the rest of the Coxes rolled into town!  We were so excited about the beautiful weather so that we could hang out outside!  First up, we were off to the park!  We enjoyed the swings, went down slides, went up and down on the see-saw, and had races across the field!

 The cousins ready to play!

G and Aunt Katie hanging out!

G, me, and Nana

We spend the rest of the afternoon outside...first in the front yard watching Caden go up and down the driveway on his scooter, laughing at the boys climbing trees and onto the roof, and just hanging out!  We then moved to the back patio to swing and grill out burgers and hot dogs!  We were all worn out after playing hard all day long!

My arms were full of mischief with these two! :)

 Oh boys...

G just watched Caden back and forth, back and forth all afternoon!

Bop's lap and heart were overflowing!

On Sunday morning we were up bright and early to get everybody ready on time for church.

Standing in front of church...we were first in line out of about 30 families!  G found the video screen behind us and enjoyed watching that!

He's all committed! :)

When we got home, we were able to take some great family pics since we were all dressed up!
Katie, Justin, and their 2 cuties!

 Our family of 3!

 All of the "kids"! :)

Nana and Bop and their sweet 3 grands!

And the whole fam!  Love them!

It was such a special weekend.  Thank you so much to the Coxes for coming to Houston this weekend to celebrate Graham and to show us your support and love!  We love y'all!
