Las Vegas

Last Thursday I hopped on a plane all by myself to meet my sis-in-law and mother-in-law in Vegas for a girls' trip!  We did lots of shopping, eating, relaxing, saw a couple of shows, and gambled.  It was a fun few days away!

We stayed at The Linq.  We all arrived within an hour of each other and had our first meal at Hash House a Go Go, which has been on Man v. Food.  It was yummy!

We then walked across the street to Caesar's to explore, gamble, and shop.

 Beautiful and huge!

Next stop was the Flamingo which was right next to our hotel.

We crashed early that night - the 2 hour time difference was a killer!

Our view outside our hotel room - the new ferris wheel and a beautiful sunrise every morning.

We set out down the strip on Friday morning, and our first stop was the Venetian.  This was our favorite hotel!  It was so nice and clean and had lots of great things to look at.

One of our favorite things we did was go on the gondola ride.  It was a fun tour through the hotel, and our boat driver was hilarious!  He danced and sang for us the whole time.

We ate lunch at Guy Fieri's restaurant - it was yummy!

We relaxed by the pool that afternoon!

That evening we headed over to the Bellagio for dinner and our show.

The beautiful gardens inside the lobby.

 We had a delicious dinner!

And we saw O that night.  It was an amazing show!

 The theater was gorgeous.

On Saturday morning we decided to explore the other way down the strip.

 Checking out Paris

The Cosmopolitan was our other favorite hotel.

And then we walked to the Bellagio to see the fountain show.

That afternoon we went to MGM for a show and dinner.

Ready to see David Copperfield.  He was very entertaining!

And then we had a yummy Mexican food dinner before heading back to our hotel.

We enjoyed some live music and did lots of good people watching!

On Sunday morning I flew home ready to see my boys!  They all had a great weekend too!

Bennett got to spend the weekend in Waco with Nana and Bop!

Feeding the ducks and riding in the wagon!

 Playing with Gran and Poppa!

 And his favorite - swinging!

But sweet boy was fighting a cold the whole time, and he woke up pretty pitiful on Sunday morning.  I'm so thankful Nana and Bop took such good care of him!

Graham and Trent headed to the ranch with Grampy and Uncle Brad.

Riding around and ready to explore!

 They did lots of fishing.

Trent met my parents on Sunday to get B back and the meeting place ended up being at the cousins' house!  We can't wait to see them again this week!

And back to real life yesterday - our dryer broke, our AC went out, Graham didn't nap, and Bennett has an ear infection.  But today is a new day! :)
