I have lots of catching up to do on the blog - I'll get back to Halloween and last week hopefully soon! But we had a very special weekend...Nana came to Houston to stay with us for a few days! It was opening weekend of deer hunting so Trent headed out to the ranch on Friday afternoon and my dad was at his deer lease all weekend. We were ready for some fun after a long and tiring week.
After Graham's nap, we did some serious shopping at Loft and DSW before having dinner at Lupe's...yummy!
Enjoying ice cream for dessert! :)
On Saturday morning we went to the zoo. We couldn't have asked for better weather! Graham loved pointing at all of the different animals!
Riding the carousel - kind of - he wasn't too sure about it this trip!
Looking sleepy on the train!
All worn out! He fell asleep on the way home while reading his new book!
After lunch and a good nap, we went to Grace's 2nd birthday fiesta! Graham had a blast in the bounce house and playing with the other kids!
We had pizza on the patio for dinner!
And played with the big box before bed!
Playing before church on Sunday morning!
My boy and me! :)
Nana and G
Time change has been rough so far. He fell asleep both on the way to church and on the way home!
Home for lunch and a nap!
That afternoon we did a little more shopping and then had dinner outside at Ruggles Green! Graham enjoyed listening to the live music and watching all of the people. It was the perfect ending to a great weekend!
Nana and Graham with the pretty lights!
Crazy kid - Sunday was the first day he was truly back to 100% after last week. I was so glad to have my crazy boy back!
This morning Graham was up at 6:15 thanks to the wonderful time change.
This is how we feel about setting our clocks back an hour...
We went on a walk before the rain came.
And Graham took a morning nap for the first time in 2 months!
After lunch at Chick-fil-A, we helped Nana get packed up so she could head back to Waco
Thanks, Mom, for coming to play with us this weekend! It was so much fun! We love you!
It was a wonderful trip! We did so many fun things! I'm glad the guys were hunting so we could play. I'm so glad that Graham is feeling so much better and now when he gets adjusted to the time change things will be back to normal. Thank you for the fun time . I love y'all!
