Graham's Birthday

I can't believe our big boy is 3!  We had so much fun celebrating him this weekend!  We had a family bowling outing and dinner on Sunday evening and lots of celebrations on Monday, his actual birthday!

On Sunday evening we didn't tell him where we were going.  When he realized it was bowling, he kept saying over and over, "I'm so excited!"

Talking strategy with Daddy!

Love the toddler ramps.

He could hardly slow down for a picture!

Me and my big boy!

He was determined to carry it by himself every single time!

And sweet Bennett sat in his stroller at the edge of the lane and loved watching everything!

And then it was on to dinner at his favorite - Southwell's!

A chocolate milkshake for dessert!

Monday morning celebration for the birthday boy!!
Donuts, candles, and balloons!

Love this sweet face!

Playing that morning after his MDO teachers came to meet him!

Lunch at Cafe Express with Grace, James, and Stephanie!

And cupcakes next door at Oh La La!

The birthday boy and me at dinner at Lupe's!  Dinner was great until they came out to sing to him and put on a huge sombrero...no bueno for Graham!

So we got some ice cream to go and headed home for presents!
He had waited so patiently all day to open presents when Trent got home.

His favorite new toy!  A fire truck, ambulance, and police car with garages and keys.

And of course a new digger!

We had so much fun celebrating Graham, and I really cannot believe he is 3!

This morning he was ready to say bye to his pacis....we had been talking about this day for a long time to make sure he was ready!  He's only had them to sleep with the last 6 months or so.  We tied them to a balloon, walked outside, and let them go!

Thankfully he was just fine with it!
He napped great this afternoon; it only took him about 25 minutes to go to sleep.

And then he had his 3 year old checkup at the dr!  Of course he was excited to go and show Dr. P his new trucks he got for his birthday.  But then we got there, and was very uncooperative for the nurse wanting to take his vitals.  We had a little chat before the Dr. came in, and thankfully he shaped up!  I'm beyond thankful for a perfectly healthy, growing, developing boy!
