A Busy Weekend

What a fun and busy few days we had!  It all started on Thursday night when Trent and I enjoyed a fun date night!  His company hosted a cooking class and dinner for some clients at Brennan's downtown.  So our favorite babysitter and her sister came over to watch the boys.  They all did great!  It was a nice night out with good wine, good food, and good time with Trent!

Love the hats!  I think I got the smallest one there, and it kept falling off!

 Love him!

On Friday evening we were ready for some fun with our boys!  Our street had a block party in the cul-de-sac with a hay ride, lots of food, and some activities for the kids.  We absolutely love our street and all of the young families.

 Bryce Petty and his football!

G wasn't sure about the hayride at first so he and Trent rode up front in the gator.

And then he got brave and wanted me to ride with him on the trailer!

 Chowing down on pizza!

And trick-or-treating!  We just went to a few houses and then it was time for our next adventure...

Our car was packed, we put the boys in pajamas, fed Bennett, and hit the road for Waco for one of our favorite weekends of the year - Homecoming!

We left at 7:30 and thought both boys would sleep most of the way - we were wrong!  Graham fell asleep 10 minutes before we got to my parents' house!

We were up bright and early on Saturday morning eating donuts in the car on the way to the parade!

G loved playing football with Caden and Uncle Justin!

And he stood and watched the entire parade!  He especially loved the band!
He's been marching around the house all week yelling at the top of his lungs, "Baylor Band March!"

Kaki and her baby doll, Bennett!

 The whole fam!

And our family of 4!  It's always so great being back on campus!

We headed back to Nana and Bop's house for naps and lunch before going to tailgate and the game.

Daddy and his newest football buddy!

 Love him!

And me with my big boy!  We made it until halftime.  We were all worn out!  After a stop to pick up pizza, we crashed at Nana and Bop's house until everybody else got home from the game!

Walking back to our car - Trent and his boys!

You would've thought the cousins were worn out from such a busy day, but no!  They had more fun chasing each other, wrestling, and playing that night at home!  And they all slept in the same room for the first time and did great!

Bennett enjoyed some quiet snuggles with Aunt Katie!

And by Sunday, we were all exhausted! :)
