Fun With Nana and Weekend Wrap-up

Last week Trent was in Dallas for work so Nana came to Houston to play with us!  She also kept Graham for me while I went to an open house for a Mother's Day Out and then to a dr. appointment.  It was such a nice help having her here!  It ended up being an even bigger help because I came down with a bad cold and just didn't feel too great at all.  Graham loved all of the attention and spoiling from Nana, as always! :)

Wound up at 6:30am on Tuesday, which ended up being an "ice day", and kept Nana from coming until Wednesday.

Silly boy loves saying cheese and looking at his pictures on my phone!

Watching for Nana on Wednesday morning!

Reading books with noises and G guiding my finger to where he wants me to push!

 Silly boy!

 Lounging on Thursday morning!

We ran a few errands and had lunch at Southwells!

And Graham helped Nana look for a new purse at Sam Moon.

 Making Valentine's cookies with Nana!

 He loved the red sprinkles!

Patiently waiting for them to be done!

 Friday morning snuggles!

Playing with his friend in the mirror while shoe shopping at DSW.

Nana treated him to ice cream after lunch since he was such a good shopping buddy that morning!

Nana left on Friday afternoon after such a fun visit!  And Trent came home that evening.  At that point, neither of us had much of a voice and were feeling pretty crummy.  So we took it easy this weekend and were thankful that we didn't have much on the calendar!

On Saturday morning, I got a pedicure with one of my good friends, and then we all took a good nap that afternoon before ordering pizza for dinner.  That was the extent of our day!

Sunday at church the kids could dress up for "Team Pride and Tutus!"

Graham and one of his besties, Ella - they are in the same nursery class and are such sweet friends!  Whenever we tell Graham we're going to church, he always asks for Ella!

Sunday reading on the couch with my boys!

We went to our Sunday School Super Bowl party on Sunday evening, and it was a madhouse!  There were about 30 families there, and tons of kids ages 4 and under.  So fun!  We are very thankful for our community of fellowship!

G decided to wake up at 5:30 this morning so this is what happens at 8:30!

 Catching bubbles at music class!

And popping them with his friends Kylie and Nora!

Funny story from the weekend - Graham has the bottom drawer in the kitchen that he's allowed to play in, it holds my paper goods.  Saturday night after dinner, we can hear him playing in there and then it gets really quiet.  So I sneak around the corner to see what he's doing....he got a cup from the drawer, was getting water out of the dispenser on the fridge, and then pouring it all over himself and the floor!  He was SOAKING wet!  But oh so proud of himself!  So note to self - set the lock feature on the fridge! :)

Have a great week and stay warm!
