3 Months

Wow...3 months, really?!  What a fun month it has been!  Graham has changed so much lately!

Graham weighs about 12 pounds.  I don't know the exact since we didn't have to go to the Dr. this month.  He is eating about 35 ounces a day, and we can really tell that he is gaining a lot of weight!  He eats about 5:30, 8:30, 11:30, 2:30, 5:30, and 8:30 everyday.

A couple of weeks ago he went through a growth spurt, which was no fun for either of us, and he was eating about every 2 hours during the day and only going 5 hours at night.  Woah...glad that's behind us!  He is asleep about 9:00 every night, will wake up to eat anywhere between 5 and 6 and then go right back to sleep until about 8:15 or so.  I love this schedule!  HE IS SLEEPING IN HIS CRIB!!  When we came back from Thanksgiving break, I was just ready to move him from the bassinet, and I thought Graham was ready as well.  I prepared myself to let him cry it out, neither of us get much sleep, and for it to just be a hard week.  Ummm...none of that happened!  He has slept in his crib at night and for naps this week like he has been doing it for months!  He takes a nap about 9:30, 12:30, 3:30, and 6:00.  He sleeps for about 30-45 minutes for each one.

Graham rolled over this week!  We were having some tummy time, and he rolled over!  I thought it was just a fluke, but then he did it again.  So I got my phone to video, and he did it a 3rd time!  He then realized what he had done and was scared and started crying!  Graham follows us all around the room with his eyes, and he gets so excited when he sees us.  My favorite thing to do is get him out of his crib in the mornings, and he is always so smiley when he sees me!  He has become so talkative.  We have "conversations" back and forth all the time!  He likes to imitate noises that we make.  I love hearing his sweet little voice!  Graham is supporting his head so well.  He likes to sit in his boppy, but it doesn't last for too long before his head starts falling over!  He is doing pretty well with tummy time.  He does a good job at it...he just doesn't like it at all!  I think that was part of why he rolled over the other day, to get out of tummy time!  Graham has also started grasping his toys.  He has a favorite fish rattle that he holds onto and shakes all the time.

Graham is still such a happy, easy-going baby.  He loves to play with his different toys/contraptions, run errands, go on walks, and travel.  He did great with all of our Thanksgiving travels while driving and sleeping different places.  We rotate through his different toys everyday...he loves all of them!  He plays so well batting and kicking at toys on his playmat.  Graham still loves listening to his music and watching the mobile on his swing.  Ceiling fans and bright lights are still his favorite form of entertainment!

Graham is wearing mainly 3 month clothes, but they are quickly becoming nice and snug.  He is starting to wear some 3-6, and they fit great with room to grow.  I love putting him in onesies with comfy pants.  I bought him several Christmas pajamas that I love seeing him in!  We will get good use out of those this next month!

There are very few things that Graham doesn't like.  Tummy time is usually at the top of the list, though!  He also doesn't like when we take too long to get his bottle ready! :)

There are many things from this past month that have been great!  Our favorite was probably celebrating Thanksgiving with Graham.  We are overwhelmed and grateful by the blessing he is in our lives.  We don't know what we did before we had him!  In the evenings we just sit on the couch playing with him and laughing a lot.  He is a joy in our lives, and we couldn't love him more!  It has also been so fun seeing his little personality start to emerge.  We love talking and interacting with him.

We are looking forward to all of the fun Christmas celebrations and new traditions with Graham this year.  It has always been such a special time of year, but this year will be like never before.  Trent and I have a whole new perspective on the holiday season.  And I know this will be our last year to decorate without having to worry about Graham pulling ornaments off the tree, etc! :)

We are participating in Bible presentation during the church service tomorrow.  Graham will receive his own New Testament Bible with his name engraved on it, and then Dr. Young will pray with us.  This will be a special time for our family, and we are looking forward to it!

This picture just makes me laugh!  He looks like he is about to take off running!

My big 3 month old sweet boy!

And here's the video of him rolling over!  Please excuse my "mom" voice! :)
Sorry, but I don't know how to turn it the right way!
