Happy Wednesday! Yes, I know I'm doing my weekend wrap-up a couple of days late, but that's because we extended our weekend into Tuesday!! What a fun weekend we had!
But let me back-up and start with our Christmas party on Friday night. We had our best friends over for a fancy Christmas feast and white elephant gift exchange! It was so much fun, and we had such a great time visiting, celebrating the Christmas season, watching the kids play, and laughing at funny presents!
Graham was excited about exchanging gifts!

The girls! Me, Sara, Summers, Crystal, Jennifer, and Ella!
On Saturday we had a lazy day around the house just relaxing and getting a few things done and resting up for Graham's big debut on Saturday evening!!
We were honored and humbled to be asked to play Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus for our church's Christmas program. We were supposed to do a Saturday afternoon and Saturday night show, but a transformer blew right before the afternoon show so they had to cancel it. We were nervous as to how Graham would do for the late show because we were supposed to go on about 30 minutes after his bedtime. He was wide awake even though we tried to feed him and rock him to sleep in the nursery! Graham was a little fussy when we first started down the aisle in the worship center and got on stage, but then he calmed down and did great! What a fun memory for our family!
Playing in the nursery before his big stage debut!
Ready to go on stage!
A mom I know from school was in the audience and took these pictures...I'm so glad to have them!
And then Sunday morning we were up bright and early for our next big adventure....ROAD TRIP...first stop was in Waco, and then Trent and I drove on to Dallas. Trent is a huge Steelers fan; we even went to Pittsburgh 2 years ago to watch them play. A couple of months ago we realized they would be playing the Cowboys, and there was no way we were missing it! So Nana and Bop so graciously agreed (we didn't have to do much bribing!) to watch Graham for the day. Trent and I left Waco about noon and hit the road north, on crazy I-35...ugh, an easy way to get your blood pressure up. It was my first time to the new Cowboys Stadium...it was awesome! The weather was beautiful, and they had the roof and the endzone windows open for the game. The only downfall to our day was that the Steelers lost in overtime. It was a great game, though!
Family pic before we left Waco!
Outside the stadium
There were TONS of Steelers fans there!
So Trent headed home to Houston early Monday morning to go out of town on a work trip....so Graham and I stayed in Waco until Tuesday! We had a fun day on Monday with Nana having lunch at Cafe Cappuccino, visiting Bop at school, going to the Baylor bookstore, walking on campus, eating in the SUB, and then finishing up Christmas shopping!!
Hanging out on campus!
Looking so cute in one of his many Christmas outfits!
Reading a Christmas book with Daddy when we got home yesterday!
Graham's favorite thing to do...stand and bounce!
We have a short and busy couple of days before we are on the road again for our Christmas travels!
