Parker at 7 Months

Sweet Parker!  7 months old!  Although tomorrow you will be 7 1/2...I'm just a few days late!

What a fun month it has been with you!

Stats: 18 lbs 12.5 oz  Big boy!

I don't know any other measurements.  I only got weight because we actually had to make a couple of sick visits this month.

Eating: He drinks 7 oz bottles at 7:00, 10:00, 1:00, 4:30 and 7:30.  He still isn't a fan of baby food.  And honestly I haven't taken the time to try too much! By the time we get to dinner about 7:15 every night, we are in survival mode and baby food is forgotten about!

Personality: Parker is the happiest and sweetest baby ever.  If i knew all babies were like him, then I would have 10!  He is quite the charmer and flirt too.  He knows when to smile at other people and then act shy and bashful.  He loves any attention anybody will give him!

Sleeping: He is my champion sleeper!!  He takes two 30 minute cat naps in the mornings, usually about 9 and 11:30.  Then he naps from 1:30-4:00 or 4:30.  This month he dropped his evening nap.  He sleeps at night from 8:00pm-7:00am.  We had to transition out of the magic merlin sleep suit because he started rolling over in it.  I expected a few rough nights, but nope!  He slept through the night like he had been on his tummy this whole time!

Likes: bath, his brothers, being outside, toys that make noise, holding our fingers and standing up, sitting up in the umbrella stroller, Baby Einstein DVDs, talking and laughing, sitting up to play with toys

Dislikes: stopping in the car, his carseat has become a dislike these last few weeks - yikes!, taking too long to make a bottle

Milestones: We have a sitter!!  He mastered it in no time.  All of a sudden one day he could sit up to play.  He loves it!  He is now a tummy sleeper and sleeps without a sleep suit or sleep sack.  And he survived his first hurricane.  He also survived his first fever and first diaper rash.  We had to visit the dr both times, but thankfully neither lasted too long!

Clothes: Parker is wearing 6 month and 9 month clothes.  He definitely needs the length in his pajamas.  I just cleaned out drawers yesterday, and the 3 month clothes that were in there looked so tiny!  Where did my baby go?!

Favorite Moment: I love seeing him sitting up and playing.  He loves the new perspective and being able to watch the craziness of his brothers running around!  He also loves to play on his tummy and turn around in circles.  It's fun just sitting back and watching him explore.

Looking forward to: Some one on one time with him now that Graham and Bennett are in school!  We start music class at church on Monday!
