We had a pretty low-key weekend planned, and it was just what we needed!
Trent got home early, about 4 on Friday, and we played outside and picked up Mexican food for dinner.
On Saturday morning, Graham and Trent went to soccer class while Bennett and I stayed home to nap (him) and get ready for some friends to come over for brunch (me)!
Our friends the Whitby's came over to catch up and let the babies play. Sweet Madison and Bennett are only 5 days apart. They are going to have so much fun growing up together! We are thankful they live only a street over from us!
Cuties!
One brother was more excited to see the other one after nap time that afternoon...
We went to one of my favorite places, La Vista, for a Mother's Day Dinner!
B enjoyed chewing his straw...
And G downed his pizza!
And we all enjoyed a brownie sundae for dessert! That would be G's arm digging in!
Bennett even tried ice cream for the first time, but he made a horrible face probably from the cold!
My boys gave me some new earring when we got home - love them!
And then we just played and were being silly before bed!
Sunday morning was busy - we were out the door by 8 to pick up breakfast for Sunday School, I taught Graham's class, and then we had our church service. We were home at 11 for lunch and naps. It was a relaxing day at home, lots of good family time!
This one brings so much joy to me!
It's impossible to get a good picture of both of them!
Overwhelmed with gratitude to be their Momma. What a high calling and privilege it is.
Love my boys so much!
I'm glad you had a great Mother's Day. Love all the silly pictures with the sunglasses.
