Christmas in Marble Falls

Our next stop on our Christmas road trip was Marble Falls for Christmas with the Agnews!  We are thankful that we can share the holidays with our parents and that they only live about 2 hours from each other.  It makes for easy travel!  We were excited to see Uncle Todd and Elizabeth who were in town from Colorado.

G was ready to open presents as soon as we got there - he had this down now!

And Sadie got lots of hugs from him during our visit! :)

His big present was upstairs in the game room, and we all went in ahead of him to see his reaction!

I think he likes it!

He knew exactly what to do!

Over and over again...he wore himself out!

My boys and me in front of the Christmas tree!

We enjoyed a yummy lunch of the traditional chicken fried deer meat and potato dumplings with most of Trent's extended family.  There were 14 of us there!  After everyone left that evening, it was time to open presents with just Trent's immediate family.

G loved Daddy's new tools!

He kept walking around and trying to open everyone's presents!

On Thursday we enjoyed a lazy day around the house, going on a walk, and we were sad to see Todd and Elizabeth go.  It was a nice, restful day after such a fun and busy few days.

On Friday evening, it was just the three of us and Trent's mom for the weekend.  We went into town and ate pizza for dinner and then went to Walkway of Lights, a Marble Falls staple!

It was nice that it wasn't crowded so G could just run around.  He pointed at everything and would say, "ohhhhh!" So cute!

On Saturday morning, me, Graham, and Trent's mom headed into town to do a little shopping on Main Street.  I had actually never been there before, and there were so many cute shops!  Graham and I both got a few new clothes and some toys for him.  It was a fun morning out!

 My sweet boy that morning!

Then the real treat was on Saturday afternoon!  We put Graham down for a nap, left Mimmie in charge, and Trent and I had a date!  We went to the Hill Country Galleria for a movie, dinner, and some shopping.  We had the best time just catching up, talking about all of our great Christmas memories, and enjoying some time just the two of us.  I don't think Mimmie minded babysitting our boy either! :)

Our only picture from the night - in Dick's Sporting Goods camo section of all places!

And G didn't miss us one single bit! :)

What a great time in Marble Falls celebrating Christmas with the Agnews!

Up next on our trip: the Fiesta Bowl - stay tuned!

  1. It sounds like you had a great time with the Agnews. It looks like Graham will spend many hours on his slide. I'm glad that you and Trent were able to have a date.
