Weekly Wrap-up: 4th of July Extended Edition

We enjoyed a nice, relaxing week at home to celebrate the 4th!  Trent got home early from work both Monday and Tuesday, and he only had to work half a day on Wednesday!  It was wonderful, and Graham LOVED spending lots of extra time with his daddy!  We didn't have too much on our calendar, just lots of swimming and playing!

Graham's favorite drawer...he likes to pull out every single metal pan and bang them on the floor!

We went to the hospital to meet sweet June!  We are so excited for Chris and Summers and their family of 4!

His other favorite drawer...the paper goods...he had napkins torn up and spread all across the kitchen at one point!

Graham and Trent read the paper every morning.

 Mr. Patriotic!

 Waving his flag!

 We watched some Baby Einstein...

 Family breakfast date!

G practiced his walking!  He took 6 steps on Thursday!!!  He was so proud of himself, as were we!

 My sweet boy eating breakfast!

We went to the pool 4 days in a row!

Our friend Sara joined us at our pool party on the 4th!

We went shoe shopping for Graham!  We figured he needs some good sandals for the beach next week.  And we are still on the hunt for some good tennis shoes!

And on Sunday, we went to sweet Ella's 1st birthday party at Gymboree!  Graham absolutely loved it!

 He LOVES Gymbo!

 Giving him a hug!

I'm so thankful for these sweet friends!

Bubbles!  And look how cute Ella is in her birthday tutu!

What a great week!  Happy Monday!

  1. We have about 3 pair of Nike shoes that Caden wore when he was that age... I'll try and dig them out of the attic and see if G dawg would like them. Nordstroms has the BEST kids shoes selection!

  3. Ditto Katie. We buy all A's shoes at Nordstrom and also Stride Rite. Tennis shoes at that age are so essential. We always joked Abigail's first tennis must've gotten a million miles!!!
