Weekend Wrap-Up

Hello blog world!  I hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving!  I have a lot to catch up on, and this weekend wrap-up is actually from last weekend...I'm a little behind since we were out of town all week!

On Saturday the 17th, we packed up our car for 9 days of travel, and we headed to Waco...the first stop on our road trip!  We were being faithful Baylor fans and going to watch our Bears take on K-State, but we had very low expectations...little did we know!

We tailgated with friends before the game, and Graham loved being outside and hanging out!

Us with Caden!  He and Uncle Tag got to play a little football at the tailgate while Graham slept!

Us with Paige and Cara!  Our babies sure are troopers for all of the Baylor games! :)

 With Stephanie and Grace!

Me and the usuals at our tailgate before heading into the game!  Graham was strapped in, sleeping, and ready to go!

So the sleeping didn't last too long for Graham, and he ate about the time of kickoff.  He then enjoyed taking everything in and sitting on Trent's lap.  But then the game got really exciting since we were playing so well and beating K-State, and the crowd just got louder and louder and louder...this didn't go over so well with Graham!  Everybody around us would jump up and yell when we made a big play, and Graham would just burst into tears!  Poor thing!  He and I left the game about mid-way through the second quarter and headed back to my parents' house to get warm and watch the game from there.

Family pic at the game while Graham was still enjoying it! :)

All nice and warm and happy at Nana and Bop's house!

What an exciting game it was!  I can't believe we actually beat the #1 team!  It was a fun night for everybody!

We were up bright and early the next morning to head to the ranch...that'll be the next blog post!

  1. Graham is a great Baylor fan! This was a fun time. Of course, we had to continue our tradition of watching the game again and staying up too late.
