Christmas Part II: Marble Falls

We loaded up the suburban on Friday morning the 23rd and hit the road for our Christmas travels!

The boys rested up on the way there!

Cute little traveler!

They were ready to play when we got there!

And first thing to do was make Christmas cookies!  Or for Bennett that just means eating the icing!

Cookies with Daddy, Mimi, and Aunt Kelsey!

We went to Walkway of Lights and Starbucks that evening.

On Saturday morning we enjoyed a lazy morning, played outside, and read Christmas books!
We read Twas the Night Before Christmas about 1:00 before we went to Trent's grandparents' house for the evening.

And we left out cookies and the boys' stockings for Santa!

Bennett loved all of the animals at Mammaw and Pawpaw's house!

Christmas Eve service!  It was interesting...Bennett took a bite of the candle and wanted to sing his own songs so he and Trent ended up in the foyer for most of it!

My boys!

All 20 of us from the McVey family there together!

Eating dinner and opening presents with everybody after church!

Watch out!  Bennett got his own BB gun!

We had a great evening, put the boys in their pajamas, and drove back to Marble Falls late.  Thankfully the boys fell asleep and transferred to their beds with a problem.

And Santa came!!  All set up for Christmas morning!

The boys were up bright and early at 6:10 ready to see what Santa brought them!

Bennett found his M&M's in his stocking first thing and he was as happy as can be!  We had to encourage him to keep opening presents!

Looking at the cookies and eating the few bites that Santa left!

And then they realized there was a picture of a power wheels car, and they started guessing and looking for where it might be!

Found it on the back porch and immediately jumped in and took off!  We needed headlights because it was still early and dark!

They love it!!

Back inside for some breakfast and presents with Mimi, Grampy, and Aunt Kelsey

New sleeping bags!

What a fun Christmas morning!  Next stop, Waco!
