A Day in the Life

So we aren't on any sort of set schedule yet, but things are starting to get more consistent.  I documented our day on Monday just to remember some things we were doing when Graham was 5 weeks old!

Graham has been eating at night between 10:30-11, then again about 3, and again at 7.  It is very manageable just getting up once during the night!  After he eats at 7 he goes right back down for another couple of hours, usually until his next feeding.  I usually get up and shower and do chores around the house during this time.  But one day a week I go back to bed too until he wakes up again! :)  After he eats again at 10ish we run errands if we have any.  It is best to get out with him in the mornings because he sleeps the best then!

On Monday we met Summers and Colton at the park to walk at 11:30.  Of course Graham slept the whole time while Summers and I had a good conversation and a nice workout!  It was a chilly day...don't they look cute all bundled up?!

That afternoon Graham enjoyed play time on his play mat and in his swing.  He loves the play mat!  He will usually spend a good 30 minutes on there.  The swing is also a good toy to use when he is fussy.  Graham will follow the mobile forever!  He loves the music too.

Graham mostly stays awake in the afternoons.  He might take a little 30 minute nap here or there.  I like for him to mostly be awake in the afternoons and evenings so that he will sleep better at night!  Once Trent gets home, it is his job to play with him and keep him nice and awake!

Most days we have been getting packages delivered!  I'm enjoying a little online shopping...I didn't buy any clothes for Graham for 9 months since we didn't know he was a boy, but I'm definitely making up for it now!  On Monday our fun package was our Halloween trick-or-treat bag!  Yes, I know he won't use it this year, but I figured it would be good for years to come!  Isn't it cute?!

We were able to eat a quick dinner on Monday evening while Graham took a short nap.  He joined us at the table...he was just asleep the whole time! :)

And Monday night was also bath night, but that takes both of us so I wasn't able to get any pictures!  Right now we are bathing him in the sink, and he loves it!  I feed him after he takes a bath, and then he goes down until about 10:30 or 11.

I love my days home with Graham!  Whether we are just hanging out around the house or out and about running errands or seeing friends, our days together are so special!
