Cousins Camp 2016

Two weeks ago was our 4th annual Cousin's Camp at Nana and Bop's house!  The theme this year was dinosaurs, and Nana had tons of fun activities planned for the cousins.

So excited to be there!

It didn't take long for everybody to be in their swimsuits and playing in the backyard!

Making dino footprints

Watching Land Before Time.  Bennett did everything he could this week to keep up with the big kids!  He wanted to be just like them!

Making a stegosaurus

And we visited the Mammoth Site on Wednesday morning!

Love these cuties!

Trying to stay cool!

We did a great kids' class that talked about herbivores, carnivores, and omnivores.
And then we toured the mammoth site.

Lunch at Freddy's afterwards!

Pool time for us counselors during nap time!

Going on a dino bone hunt that evening!

And we celebrated Kaki's 5th birthday!

Bennett was all about the cupcakes!

And the water!

The big kids loved their slumber parties both nights!

Going to feed the ducks on Thursday morning!

And cutting through ice to dig out dinos!

At lunch time we had a babysitter come stay with Bennett while we took the big kids to see Finding Dory at the Hippodrome!  It was so much fun!

Ready for some lunch!

After the movie we checked out the new candy store downtown.  It was super cute!

We got home and had closing ceremonies!

Nana and her grands!
Thank you Nana for another wonderful cousins camp and so many fun memories!

The Cox's headed out after that, but we stayed to play another night!

We headed to the pool!

And we went to George's for dinner!

Ice cream before bed for G

Playing on Friday morning

Silly boy!

We headed to the bounce house place.  The boys wore themselves out!

After that we met Bop for lunch at McAlister's before hitting the road home.

A Sonic treat after they woke up from their naps!

Fourth of July Fun

We had the best weekend!  It was full of good family time, swimming every day, fun with friends, and celebrating the 4th of July.

Trent got home about lunch time on Friday to start our long weekend!  We decided to go downtown that evening to the Aquarium.  We rode the shark train and the carousel, touched the sting rays, and ate a yummy dinner.

Ready for the train!

B loved the choo choo!

And the carousel!

The boys enjoyed some yummy dessert!

And of course he ate every single bite!

On Saturday morning we met the Valentine's for the Memorial Villages neighborhood parade.

Donuts, flags, and friends!

Waiting for it to start!

And it started with about 6 fire trucks!  The boys loved it!

And Graham said his favorite part was the band!

Us and the Valentine's

We went swimming right after the parade and then home for lunch and naps.  That evening went to some friends' house for more swimming and grilling out burgers!

One of my favorite church service of the year!  I love all of the patriotic music!

After lunch and naps it was time for more swimming!

And we ate dinner at the pool

Yummy brownie with red icing!

We got snow cones our way home!

Bennett missed the memo for red, white, and blue.  He was going for black and blue instead!
This happened on Saturday when he jumped onto Graham in the pool and they hit heads.

We enjoyed a lazy morning at home after the boys slept late!  And then we went to our pool party for lunch and to swim!

More PB&J by the pool.  Life is good!

And now we are finishing our night watching the fireworks on TV live in NYC.
Happy July 4th!
