Hilton Head

Last week we were able to take a wonderful family vacation to Hilton Head!  We were so excited about a few days away to play, relax, and just hang out, just the 3 of us!  And it did not disappoint!  Hilton Head was absolutely beautiful!  We stayed at a great resort, ate lots of yummy seafood, and enjoyed beautiful weather and the beach.

On the plane, ready to go!

Looking at all of the other planes before we took off...he was loving it!

Eating his lunch on the plane!  I think he put the tray table up and down about 100 times...

His favorite entertainment was Trent's drink stirrer! :)

G did great on the flight, as always, but didn't sleep at all.  So he slept the whole hour drive from Savannah to Hilton Head!

Ready to go for a ride and see our condo!  I dropped my boys off and then went to the grocery store to get a few things for the week.

He was excited about another ride to unload the groceries!

We ate dinner at the restaurant at our resort and then went for a quick walk on the beach!

My view the next morning - I could really get used to this!

G checking the pool and beach out!

Every day we would play on the beach from 9-12, go back up to our condo for lunch and a nap for G, and then more time on the beach from 3:30-5.  Then we would shower and go to dinner!

Graham LOVED the beach!  He would've dug and played in the sand all day!  Trent loved building sand castles with him!
Warning: LOTS of beach pictures! :)

Late that afternoon we tried the pool, but it was too cold!

 Dinner out at Red Fish!

Playing on the iPad before bedtime

Eating a good breakfast to be ready for another day at the beach!

My view at nap time each day!  Trent so graciously offered to "supervise" nap time and get some work done so I was able to read and relax on the beach!

 Dinner at Black Marlin

 YUMMY!!!

Ice cream for dessert, of course!

Going for a walk on the beach after dinner in hopes of getting some pics taken...

 My favorite picture!!

 Love them!

Graham loved his hat, and he insisted on wearing it all of the time!

 Enjoying the view

Cheers to dinner at The Oyster Factory!

Loaded up and ready to go on Sunday morning

We had a few extra minutes so we got to swing and take a quick walk around before driving back to Savannah to catch our flight.

We all were able to rest on the flight home! :)

Helping me unpack and put suitcases away after another great vacation!

I'm so thankful we had this time as a family to make special memories and enjoy being together!  What a wonderful trip!

A Weekend at the Ranch

This weekend we made the 6 hour trek to the ranch so Trent could go turkey hunting! We had the whole place to ourselves, and we were excited about some good family time, relaxing, and lots of exploring!

Helping me pack on Thursday morning...I asked him to go get his socks, and I followed behind to see what he would do...sure enough, he got them and brought them to me!

Before we left I took Graham to get a haircut - here he is showing it off while we ate lunch!

We stopped in Marble Falls for dinner and a quick break and visit with the in-laws and then continued the rest of the way.  There were storms all around us, but thankfully we never got rained on.

We did see a beautiful rainbow though outside of Llano!

He quickly found the broom on Friday morning and loved sweeping around the house!

Ready for a ride in the mule!

 Family pic!

 He loved driving!

Trent went out in the mornings and evenings hunting for turkeys while I got to play with this turkey! :)

 Happy boy!

He loved standing at the front door and looking out at the tractor!

 My turkey hunter! :)

We loaded up on Sunday morning to come back home.  Graham was the best traveler both ways!
Helping me pack and clean up on Sunday morning!

Glad to be home and thankful for a great weekend!

Happy Monday!

15 Weeks

So crazy that I'm already 15 weeks!  And I've been meaning to do my weekly post for 3 weeks now...this poor 2nd child! :)

Please excuse the bad lighting.  And the photo bomber trying to escape out the door!

How far along: 15 weeks
Size of baby: orange - 4.5 in, 2 to 3 oz
Maternity Clothes: starting to wear a few maternity tops, but I'm still able to wear the bella band with regular pants
Gender: We are finding out this time!  I'm waiting on the dr's office to call back to schedule our anatomy scan, probably the 1st week of May!
Movement: Not yet, can't wait!
Sleep: Sleep has been just ok.  I'm having lots of crazy and scary dreams so that usually wakes me up almost every night, and I'll stay awake for at least an hour.  And if I'm not waking up from a dream, then I am from having to go to the bathroom so that keeps me awake too!  I love nap time in the afternoons! :)
What I miss: The only thing so far - wine! :)
Cravings: Orange juice, hot sandwiches (lots of stops at Schlotzskys's and Which Wich), fruit
Symptoms: just some back pain in the evenings, mostly from chasing and carrying a toddler!  I've also been really tired.  Just this week for the first time I haven't been desperate to take a nap when Graham does.  The nausea seems to have passed.  I've been really hungry, especially about 10am and 4pm.
Best moment of the week: I heard the sweet heartbeat again yesterday at my check-up...never gets old!  Such an amazing sound!
Looking forward to: vacation with my boys next week!  We are going to Hilton Head, SC, and we can't wait to relax on the beach and at the pool and just enjoy some good family time!
